Elli, the General Manager at Blick on 13^th Street approached me with the idea of creating canvas postcards for the store front windows. She had an idea to have vintage style postcards similar to Lyfts ad campaign.

The three subjects we decided were Blick 13^thStreet, New York City and Union Square.

Elli sketched out an idea she had for Union Square and New York City cards. I took her ideas and cleaned them up and added a full color palette to them.

The overal design we wanted to keep simple to be able to just change the color schemes for whichever upcoming season.

Initially the designs were printed only with linework and were used as a way to engage with customers as a paint by number. Due to time, we were unable to finish them and were requested by our district manager to reduce the size so it doesn’t fit the entire window opening.
