PROJECT DETAILS

  • Medium:  Digital
  • Tasks/Skills:  Event Website & Blog Redesign / Photoshop
  • Collaborators: Joonsoo “June” Kang

These are two home page redesigns for the event of Borgfest and the blog for Borgfest.  This was part of a larger project, Borgfest Branding Package.

The goal of the redesign was to segment the event from the blog that shares various articles about cyborgs and the progression of technology.

Separating the event from the blog gives each site a clear, specific purpose as opposed to it’s current state that is a bit lackluster and confusing.

BorgFest is a celebration for an intentional community of people interested in human augmentation and enhancement.  Many of the participants will themselves have been augmented as a result of accident, injury, war, illness, disease, or congenital defect. Others may have been augmented for personal, professional, artistic, stylistic, philosophical, political, or religious reasons. Some of the participants are industry or academic leaders in the fields that provide products and services to this community. Amidst the celebration, key conversations will occur, common languages formed, relationships built, ideas crystallized, concepts demonstrated, opportunities developed, and people helped.
