- Tasks/Skills: Customizing a winter themed Munny Doll to the style of Ralphie from A Christmas Story
This was my very first custom toy. This was entered for a contest at Blick Art Materials for the Winter Wonderland Munny Doll Contest. The requirements for submission were that had to be a 6in Munny Doll, decorated as anything holiday or winter related. For my submission, I chose to create Ralphie in his Bunny suit as seen in A Christmas Story. The figure won first prize.
The figure’s face is hand painted while the suit is crafted out of felt. I really wanted to create that tangible feeling and look as if it actually was a onesie. The ears on both the hood and slippers have bendable wire, so you can pose both to any way you want to.
