FAQ's
I am located in Brooklyn and can generally shoot at any location. I do prefer upper Brooklyn, South Queens and Lower Manhattan to shoot, as it's easier for me to travel with my equipment.
I like very vibrant colors in my photography. With food and drink especially, a color can really make the photo pop. With events and clubs, I love to capture any colorful disco lights bouncing off the subject or in the background creating whole new vibes and experiences.
For bars and restaurants, I like to take a visit of the venue before shooting day. I get a vibe of the space, find any specific areas that I think will be more photogenic than others. I'm mainly looking for colors, surface textures and what will be in the background. I also look for any props that can be used that are already at the venue and that will determine if I'm going to bring in any few extras for the shoot.
I also like to see what is currently done from a marketing/branding standpoint to ensure nothing is off-brand.
I do not give a specific amount, but depending on the needs of a shoot, I will give a rough range of edited photos. For example, a food/cocktail shoot that lasts 2-3 hours can have about 100+ shots. I will generally deliver a range between 20-40 edited photos of various sizes.
