Redesigning a new directory site of the Woodhaven BID to represent the area of Woodhaven, Queens.
I was hired by the Woodhaven Business Improvement District (BID) to help them rebrand and redesign their website.
The main function of the website serves as a business directory for residents, visitors and potential business owners to see the potential of what Woodhaven has to offer. The previous website was very out of date and needed a complete makeover.
Social media profiles were created to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, whether that be events, news, new businesses, business owner features and more.
Designing the website, there was one thing the previous site had that I really liked. That was the tagline “Taking Care of BIDness”. It was something that was migrated over and used for marketing purposes that the other BID’s didn’t have.
