PROJECT DETAILS
For this project, I was designing a graphic that would be given out to the lifeguards of Rockaway Beach in Queens. I was told of a very specific idea they had that they wanted to do based on inside jokes between the staff.
Things that they wanted to include were:
- Having their building posts take off like a spaceship
- A skeleton with a hot dog cart saying “Launch”
- Somewhere on the piece, “106 Shipped”
I focused more on turning one of the buildings into a spaceship, or what it would look like if it could turn into one. I added small details like the skeleton taking a selfie of itself while the ship is taking off in the background.
